An opera I put together. I had to sing for this, and working with audacity is easier than I thought. I'm a bit self conscious about my first time singing on a piece, but that's the point of this in a way: to get me used to it.

This is the second part of a fictional opera in my head. A newly promoted captain in the army of his beloved homeland is suddenly tasked with bringing down the church order of his faith. His life had been wonderful up till now, when his dreams were finally reached.

He enters the church to seek his deity for guidance when a general, a man like a father to him, storms in and tells him to get his butt out there and fight for the people he swore an oath to protect. Then the Bishop of his order steps in and argues against him.

The bishop and the general argue, the bishop pulls out a flintlock pistol and takes aim for the general. The new captain leaps in the way and takes one for team Military, leaving the general to mourn his sudden and unnecessary passing.
