Ooh, so hilarious, I laughed out loud. A complete lunatic, the other cat, singing a nonsense song like a parrot. Well, it wasn't so nonsensic in the end. Laughed also when he went his face down to the bilge. So hilarious choice of words. Great little piece, I enjoyed reading this.
That would be an awesome song for any occasion. I wish I knew the tune. :)
I made a song like that once during this on live roleplay session... it went something like this: "we're eating fish, we're eating fish, we're eating fish all week long. We're eating fish, we're eating fish, we're eathing fish, there's plenty more. We're eating fish, we're eating fish, we're eating fish, won't you have some?" It just goes on and on and on until everyone's sick of fish.

I'm not sure why, but within a few sentences I started to see this in my mind as an animated short. Maybe because of the simple setting and the small number of characters. I dunno. But then I got to the "ee eye ee eye OH SHUT THE F**K UP!" part and thought, 'Gee, I guess it would have to be flash cartoon on the Internet.'
Still, it's fun and funny and yet still touching. How do you do that, anyway? You can turn a situation from darkly funny to soft and soulful with a mere handful of sentences. Amazing.

I use bisquik myself.. can never seem to get hotcakes right when doing it from scratch, so... milk, eggs, and bisquik (and a little lemon juice if I have it) and topped with Log Cabin syrup (Reduced Calorie so I can't feel my poor teeth screaming at me for drenching them in pure sugar, lol) At least 6 inches in diameter, and no less than half an inch thick, though closer to 3/4 is better.. nice and fluffy *drool*
