Here is some info on them:

Species name: Resalka.(REE-saul-kah)

They attract their prey by songs and sounds that entice others to secluded areas.

while submerged deep within waters, scales are smooth and slick but when out of water tend toclook more dragonic and dry. Each has its own color coding and pattern which glows at night( bright colors while inhaling dimmer colors on exhaling)

Temper:
The more beautiful the sound the violent the Resalka tend to be ranging from that of a yawning kitten to the fury of a raging honey badger. With neither gender more violent then the other.

Rare Traits:
changing colors in males and their bodily fluids have a constant glow. Females tend to sprout wings which allow flight for small amounts of time and produce a venom that liquidates vast forms of solid matter (the more density the longer it takes) both rare cases they can reproduce asexually
It is also quite rare to see them traveling in packs unless they are a mated couple.

As far as mixes go since they are amphibians crossing then with things such as canines, felines and the like will cause genetic defects which ultimately kills Resalkas at infancy. My Advice would be to keep it pure bred. but they can be crossed/hybrid with other amphibians/reptiles/fish.

Mating:
a trial and error kind of thing if two males or two females the one with the less powerful genes changes gender to mate. But the gender change happens only once. And the mating event is a year round thing depending on seasons. Sex Change Will Not Occur If It is a homosexual type mating (meaning both parties WANT to have sex with the same sex).


When Anthro:
Seadwellers tend to look more amphibious while Land Dwellers look Dragonic. Females Breasts only show when aroused, becoming Flat chested otherwise.
