Just look what that otter has done! Folks aren't going to recognize this wuff without his pot belly! On the other paw, Vrghr is feeling pretty darn good! And those wild pizzas and sneaky sundaes better watch out! A fit and trim wuff will have NO problem chasing them down now!
A bit of back-story: As everyone who's followed this wuff more than a week knows, Vrghr is a food-loving hedonistic wuffy. The thick layer of padding and prominent pot belly he's so proud of are a testament to his love of all things culinary.
Gallows is a very predatory, vore-ish, rather sadistic otter (played by wuff's BFF
talonsaurn). In a match up highly reminiscent of the old "Odd Couple" movie and TV show, Vrghr and Gallows have managed to become very close friends (though the otter would vehemently deny such an affiliation!)
Gallows is constantly ranting about how Vrghr fails to live up to the proper standards of a predator; fat, lazy, soft, kindly, and did we mention, FAT! Marshmallow, pussy willow and similar derogatory (to him) names are his terms of affection for this wuff.
So, every year just before the otter's birthday, Vrghr makes a "surprise" visit to the otter's gym and puts his body in the otter's paws. What follows would put a Marine boot camp and Seals "hell week" regime to shame! But the otter LOVES it!
He gets to take that pile of flabby wuff, and turn him into the otter's icon of a perfectly fit and trim predator! Weeks later on the otter's actual birthday, Vrghr presents his gift to the otter; A "Charles Atlas" of a dragonwuff!
Then the two of them head out for a night of predatory debauchery at a hunting range selected by the otter. Afterward, the wuff eventually (sooner more often than later) slips back into his old habits and once again returns to the plump, pot-bellied, "marshmallow" of a wuff that the otter so loves to verbally abuse.
Here is Vrghr exiting the front of Gallows' Gym following weeks of the "tender ministrations" of the otter, thinking, "Dang! That otter does GOOD work!"

Agreed! sugarboy did magnificent work on this! It was quite challenging too! Musculature on a dog/canine is significantly different from that of a human, and not many people make a habit of drawing "dog bodybuilders" for practice. *grins* And look at that architecture behind the wuff! Vrghr told SB that the Gym was in a re-purposed old industrial building. He captured the feeling perfectly! All those bricks!
