So, I got Ori and the Blind Forest for my birthday.

I love this game. No, I adore this game. Every moment is breathtaking. It's like a moving painting. The orchestrated score is hauntingly beautiful. The gameplay is very challenging but rewarding. And the story will hit you right in the feels.

I haven't had this much fun playing a 2D exploration game since Metroid Zero Mission (remake of the 1st Metroid). I beat Ori with 100% completion and know this wont be my my last playthrough.

Today I decided to practice painting, since I suck at it. This was just a quick and sloppy paintjob, but add a few brush textures and filters and suddenly it's slightly less shitty than it was 5 minutes ago! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I think I did a good job on drawing Ori, though. That cute little bastard.
