The Prime Minister contemplates as the tides of war loom upon him. Bringing in his fellow citizens to die for the Republic brings in a heavy burden upon himself and the government itself. He fought in campaigns when he was young and yet cannot escape the fact that death may meet on his fellow citizens.
"These are the reports from our covert spies in the dominion sir." Said his assistant providing a set of papers.
"Great, they have to be this serious, amassing a large armada of vessels on their south coast ports." He said browsing through the reports.
Looking at the crystal ashtray: it was clean, he hasn't smoked since these past several hours, he could have done it but all these news coming to him has met him with so much distracting anxiety. He leans on his desk trying to find a way to try to make this war as short as possible. Looking at his assistant's azure eyes he tries to keep his composure, he clears his throat:
"Will any of our strategic bombers be able to fly to any of our allies to the east?"
She tilts her ears from the question, she pauses for an answer. Her eyes light up and replies:
"As a matter of fact, yes."
"Excellent! Ship as many bombers as possible to the easternmost airfield."
"Y-yes sir." Said the assistant and briskly walks out of the office.
