After their successful debut concert on April 1, 2015 which brought them critical praise, audience applause and several request for dates.
Their manager Brittany Miller revealed her hoax to the world.
CHIPS were actually Alvin, Simon and Theodore in elaborate costumes and makeup and with some special training from Brittany.
This photo shows the boys in full disguise but before Brittany trained them to act like a girl band.
Allison/Alvin could barely walk in the slinky gown and high heels.
Savannah/Simon had a breathless sensual look because he could barely breathe in his corset.
And hard rocking partygirl Tina/Theodore was up all night baking a batch of chocolate chip cookies for everyone.

Turns out she had found a foreign reality show called "Boys Will Be Girls" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCKl7QL306U (yep its real, check it out)
She decided to do an American version and somehow talked the boys into starring in it.
Over here it will be called "Munks Will Be Ettes" and she is still trying to sell the mini series to a network.
