Twinkle Twinkle: Chapter 10
Star squirmed against the snug straps of her car-seat, vaguely aware that anyone looking through Serena’s car untinted windows would be easily able to get their monthly dose of diapered adults in so much as a glance. Psudo, Star’s new playmate for the day, was likewise restrained in an infantile, fully harnessed car seat, like the kind you’d put a two year old in, complete with 5-point harness and locking buckle at the chest. The pink and blonde lynx hadn’t had an auspicious parting with her daddy, Andrew, after lunch. She’d cried a bit, in full view of everybody, but the fit had subsided under his cooing and, eventually, they’d managed to get her to climb into Serena’s car, the woman being practically a total stranger to her at this point, and allow herself to be buckled in for the drive to her estate.
Serena’s car was a slick, black luxury car, which Star had long since gotten used to being in while under Andrew’s care, if possibly even more vain. This one had an actual cable television mounted between the seats, which was currently broadcasting a channel called Tree House, and the two blushing babies in the back seat had to sit through nearly an hour of mindless, infantile entertainment during the drive. At one point, Serena even stopped to run an errand at a local mall, leaving Psudo and Star helplessly restrained in the back seat, and both of them doing what little they could to hide their faces from the various onlookers that passed by.
“Awww, are my little babies shy?” Serena mused, opening the driver’s seat door of her car and sitting back in some ten minutes later, then smiling and bending around to hand each of them an ice cream sandwich, grinning all the while.
“F-fankyoo, mommy,” Psudo said, adopting the cutesy little toddler voice that he always used when addressing her. Star thanked her as well, but hers came out nearly inaudible past the huge nipple of her pacifier, though Serena promptly giggled and gave her permission to remove it for their snack.
Her mind briefly given a respite from the playful singing of the cartoonish characters on the car’s TV, her humiliating pink denim overalls and the squishing, soggy diaper between her legs, Star made sure to savor the ice cream bar, and could see that her equally infantilized playmate was doing the same. Things inexplicably tasted better when she was in her little headspace. There wasn’t really any way to describe it, other than that she, and presumably Psudo as well, became super-sensitive to the reactions of their parental figures, and any treat or discipline became charged with their opinions. A new toy or special treat for good behavior was more than just a snack, or something to be played with, it was a concrete symbol of mommy or daddy’s affection, proof incarnate of their love for you, and so everything given to a child took on the aspect of a divinely given boon, something to be treasured and held greater than ordinary toys or candies or what have you. That, Star had started to realize, was one of the most important changes between children and adults. Adolescents stopped looking beyond the skin-deep notion of what things are, not what those things meant, and, in doing so, had shrunk their world a thousand fold. So intense was the experience of regaining that meta-physical insight into people’s emotions and intentions again to the lynx, as she realized that she had several weeks earlier, that she had almost considered curling up in a corner, severing all ties with her Daddy figure and trying to deny that part of her existed, but, luckily for all, she hadn’t.
It was this significance of intention that Star contemplated during the remainder of the drive home, with nothing else to do but fiddle with her harness straps. Psudo and the lynx couldn’t exactly chat, what with the kid’s shows playing right in front of them and with the television just slightly out of their reach, and Serena watching over her shoulder to make sure Star’s pacifier went right back into her muzzle the second she had finished her treat. Psudo, being a bird, was pacifier proofed, but the snake seemed perfectly contented to have her fill of reducing someone’s speech to nil via a rubber nipple in their maw while she had Star under her thumb.
The three of them eventually pulled into a high-end neighborhood on the outskirts of the city, the kind with huge gated estates and actual, legitimate doormen. Naturally, Serena lived in one of the largest and most pompous residential addresses on the map. She was legitimately dumbfounded, jaw hanging open at the raw excess, and that was coming from someone who had been spending her free days at Andrew’s estate for the past few months!
The car drove up to the front door, one of those column adorned entryways that the very rich are so fond of, and both she and Psudo were unbuckled with all due cooing and handling. Instead of bothering with the leash this time, Serena simply picked the owl up out of his car seat with little more effort than she would a baby, and cooed down into his blushing face as she walked up towards the front door, Star following cautiously behind.
“Now, you remember the deal we made, right Psudo?” Serena said, gently rocking her cub back and forth and making sure the clueless lynx was close enough to see and hear the squirming owl’s dismayed whines, apparently having hoped that she had forgotten whatever deal he had apparently cut.
“M-mommy…! N-not in front of her, please…?” Psudo whimpered, trying to look as little and powerless as possible, which wasn’t very hard given the circumstances. Star waddled over, her diaper having bloated from the three times she’d wetted that afternoon, twice without realizing it, and watched more closely.
“Now now, I know you remember. I gave you the choice, either you’d be a girl for lunch out with your new playmate, or you’d be a girl for the rest of the weekend, and you chose the latter. And these overalls are so unbefitting pretty little princesses like you two,” she giggled, and, before Star could register that that last line meant that they both were to wind up in outfits, she had been taken in a surprisingly strong hand, the woman somehow gifted with a hands-on attitude and the strength to back it up, and pulled along down one of the adjoining hallways that led away from the central atrium, which had a vertical roof thirty feet tall and ending in a single, arched skylight, flooding the main hallway with natural light.
The owl’s face had gone Ferrari red for the few seconds Star could see it before he pulled his stunted wings over his head, flight feathers clearly having been clipped to make him look more childish. It worked, the lack of adult plumage making Psudo look more like an overgrown baby than even Star for the most part, though, inwardly, the lynx questioned the choice to clip his feathers… It seemed a little far to take the regression, and she made a note to make her firm boundaries clear the first change she got.
Passing through the halls of the mansion, Star could see that, unlike Andrew, who only had one at first, then a second infantile nursery room in his manor, Serena had a dozen or more, each with a slightly different purpose and layout. There was one intended to look like a preschool or daycare, one for an older boy, maybe aged five or six, and a girly counterpart, and with a plaque on each door signifying the age appropriate for that bedroom. Rooms for girls were on the left, rooms for boys were on the right, and they counted down from six, all the way to newborn, but, oddly enough, Star didn’t see or hear any other children, adult or otherwise, throughout the house. She risked a question, and tugged on Serena’s arm, tapping the side of her pacifier with a mitted paw to show she wanted permission to talk like a big girl.
Serena seemed amused, grinning, and pulled the pink nipple out of Star’s mouth, “Yes, sweetie? What is it?”
“Do… erm,” Star took a moment to shake off the babyish lisp that always followed any long period of time pacified, “Don’t you have any other, you know… babies? Why are there so many nurseries if it’s just Psudo?” Star had heard of AB males who liked to be treated like little girls, so that didn’t confuse her, but she was honestly confused about the sheer number of nurseries, twelve of them in a row, and waited for her answer.
“I keep my little one’s age fluid,” Serena said, giggling a bit, “when he’s a good baby, he gets to grow up a little bit, but, if he’s bad, then I knock him down a peg.” She had the flushed, and clearly humiliated owlet in front of her, holding each of his hands in one of hers, leaving him exposed, “Today he’s two, and he had to work his little butt off to get there from newborn, now didn’t you sweetie?” She giggled a bit more over her squirming charge, gently licking the top of his head with a flicking tongue, and Psudo nodded the affirmative.
A few more doors later, they arrived at the pink door marked 2, and both were led inside, Star a bit more willingly than the owl, to reveal a nursery not unlike that which Andrew had had made for her. It had a crib, changing table, plush carpet and stacks of diapers everywhere. There was a play-pen, complete with little dollies and a tea-party table, plastic cups and plushies stacked neatly.
“But I believe you two need a change, now don’t you?” the snake said, grinning down at the two helpless cubs. Both of them knowingly bowed their heads in submission, it would only make things worse if they squirmed here. A waddle could be dealt with, but being forced onto your hands and knees by the bulk between your legs was a punishment that made staying still for a diaper change almost a pleasure. “Guest gets changed first,” Serena said, scooping Star up off her feet with as much ease as she had earlier done with Psudo, and Andrew had done with her many times. Where do these rich buggers get all their strength?! Star inwardly asked as she was stripped down to her diaper, onesie and pink denim overalls being discarded into a wash chute, then picked up under the arms again and strapped down to the changing table.
By this point in her regression, a diaper change was among the most routine things she had come to know. Her caretaker tore the tapes on her diaper, folded it down between her legs, then wiped her clean and replaced it with another, equally thick pamper. She had learned from Andrew that the insanely thick padding that they used had to be custom ordered, but the adorable, cartoony front panels and three inches of poof that left a cub barely able to stand was worth every penny. These particular diapers had strawberry prints on it, and Star remembered with dismay Andrew’s damned fruit-themed outfit phase… She’d been paraded around outside for playtime wearing nothing but a red sundress with a berry shaped cap, and had been on the receiving end of a spanking when she hissed at him for it.
The routine change was repeated, if with slightly more squirm, on Psudo, and in a few minutes the two of them were left bow legged, standing naked but for their prissy diapers in the girly nursery. Star was anxiously cupping her chest with her arms and sucking on her pacifier to hide it, but nobody there seemed at all interested in seeing her without a shirt on, and it was this off-balance state that left Star liable to be knocked over when Serena posed her a question, “Alright, cuties, it’s dress-up time! Star, since you’re the guest, you get first pick.” She smiled, ignoring the owl’s immediate blush and whimper at the sight of the two frilly, pink dresses. One of them was a margin less humiliating than the other, only adorned with a moderate number of bows and long enough, Star could see, that a diaper could be reasonably hidden beneath it. The other was a fluffy monstrosity, ripe with petticoats and frills and lace, it made even the worst of things Star had been put in by Andrew seem tame in comparison, and, inwardly, the lynx felt a twinge of guilt for the little owl, hiding his face in shame again, and decided to take pity on him, blushing and pointing to the greater of the two evils. Serena smiled playfully, and handed it to her, “such a thoughtful kitten, you are. Go on, I’ll be there to help you get dressed in a moment.”
The dress zipped up the back, Star quickly found, and, still in the cute little pink mittens that Andrew had put her in at the restaurant, the lynx’s chances of getting into it on her own were practically nil. Waiting her turn, Star watched Psudo as he shortly disappeared under the dress, only for his head and arms to pop out, and the zipper to be pulled up and fastened in place at the top.
“Oh, you are so cute!” Serena teased, wrapping her arms around the little owl’s belly and gently nuzzling the top of his head, “Such a helpless little baby girl. Yes you are! Yes you are!” The squirming increased to epic levels as she maintained her verbal barrage of cooing, and Star couldn’t help but blush for the poor baby boy. She didn’t have long to wait, however, before she was subjected to similar torment. “Aww, does princess love her dress? I bet she does, isn’t that right pretty kitty?” Star’s face flushed pink, and she suddenly wished she had wings to hide her face behind, too, as, bit by bit, she too was slowly coerced into the dress she had chosen for herself. There was nothing modest about it, by the end of a few minutes the lynx had been thoroughly transformed into a blazing tower of sissy and D’awww, complete with all manner of bows, frills, lace and everything else. “Oh, you two could be sisters! Just look at those blushy little faces,” Serena took both of Star’s cheeks between her fingers and pulled them like an evil aunt, eliciting a groan of embarrassment and discomfort from the lynx, who immediately stepped back and pouted mightily, right next to the equally unpleased owlet in a just slightly less humiliating outfit.
“I’m not a girl…” Psudo grumbled to himself, intended for Star’s ears only, but his mommy figure picked up on the fuss and grinned at the opportunity to further tease him, which she did with great earnest.
“Well, that pretty little dress certainly says otherwise,” she said, grinning and poking Psudo’s belly, “but you’ve had enough big-girl time already today, so I think it’s bedtime for you two. There’ll be time to play tomorrow.” Star was somewhat surprised by this, and almost argued for a later bedtime… But so did Psudo, and the lynx could see that, and, learning from experience, she decided that if the owl knew better than to tangle with his mommy’s clearly ironclad will – he’d let himself be stuffed in a dress that would have been embarrassing for Star, after all – then she decided it would be in her best interest to follow suit. Star bowed her head, pouty but not defiant, and both of them were led by the paw over to Psudo’s girly crib, the owl’s waddle increasing significantly as he slipped deeper and deeper into the headspace of a child.
“Buh… mommy, I’n nah sweepy…” Psudo said, giving himself the lie by yawning in the middle of his sentence. Serena only smiled, gently picking the owl up again and sitting on the edge of his crib.
“Oh, I know you are, little egg,” she cooed, one hand keeping him steady in her lap and the other gently scratching his belly. Already drifting, his transition from playful to sleepy having happened almost at the drop of a hat, Psudo practically didn’t fuss at all as Serena produced a bottle out of one pocket and started to feed him. Unlike all of the bottles she’d been fed in the past by Andrew, this one had more of a squeeze-bottle look to it, and a nozzle instead of a bulb to suck on. This confused the lynx until she realized that, having a beak in place of a muzzle, it would be ridiculous to suggest bottle feeding the owl like any other cub, yet clearly Serena had found a way around that.
It was a very calming, maternal few minutes while she ever so slowly fed her son the milk, and Star couldn’t help but blush… She’d been questioning the healthiness of their relationship up until that point – Serena seemed to be much more imposing on Psudo to be a baby than Andrew normally was on her – but perhaps that was because he hadn’t started out with the fetish, but was developing it over time? She didn’t know, but the contentment in his drooping eyes as he was fed by his mommy put all Star’s fears to rest. There was real, legitimate compassion between them, and that was all that mattered, even if Psudo had to be a bit more submissive on a regular basis than was required of Star.
“Alright, kitten, your turn,” Serena said, popping the bubbly trance she’d fallen into, and even took her a bit by surprise as she, too, was scooped up like an infant, and sat down in the woman’s lap. “I’ve got something very special for you,” she said, grinning playfully, and Star looked around for a bottle, finding none… She could see Psudo next to her, laying down on a large, thick comforter that the lynx clearly recognised was intended for a swaddle, and, when she looked back up into Serena’s warm, smiling, maternal face, she practically burnt up from the inside out with embarrassment, cheeks going so red they were liable to burst into flames. Serena had pulled her blouse down off one of her arms, exposing a breast, and Star hadn’t noticed until she was practically face-first in the nipple.
“B-buh I…!” the lynx said, trying to protest, to squirm, to do anything really, but Serena’s grip on her was absolute. She had clearly anticipated, and prepared for her squirm, so her wiggling was all but pointless.
“Now now, fussy baby… I know this is new to you, so just take it slowly. It’s just like a baba,” she cooed, her spare paw going down to gently scratch Star’s quivering belly, once again thrust into a position that left her totally powerless to escape, but yet, at the same time, inexplicably excited by just that… It was a thrilling sort of blend between pleasure and security that the affection showed, and the embarrassment and social vertigo that was flooding her head all the while. A few months ago Star might have complained that she wasn’t a baby! Or that she didn’t need a bottle, let alone to be nursed! But, in the months since she’d met Andrew, she’d realized that, really, she was a baby, or at least deep down inside, the place that really mattered, and that she did need a bottle. Star’s diapers had become comfort on a cold winter night, and her pacifier was the presence of compassion. She needed both of them to sleep at night, at the very least, and plushies, a bottle, and crib bars all helped tremendously. This was what she was, now, and the lynx didn’t think she could go back even if she wanted to. That’s what eventually broke down her resistance, even to this advanced form of regression, and stuck in the back of her head forever. Star, half conscious, latched onto Serena’s breast and began to suckle. And that’s all she had to do, nurse like the baby she was. The sensation of warm milk started to flow into her mouth, sweet and sugary and comforting like nothing else. All Star’s anxiety, whatever the cause, melted away like snow in the spring, down the calmly flowing river, forgotten.
The lynx was barely still awake by this point, but continued to suckle until her belly gurgled with milk, and, lacking even the energy to continue, she went limp in Serena’s arms, regressed into a headspace so little that even the modes of motor function were beyond her. Serena smiled with all the love in the world down at the kitten, so glad she’d offered to babysit for the weekend, and indulged in a few minutes of quiet rocking before putting her down, gently intertwining the lynx with the owl so that they could be more easily swaddled together, and, with the quiet touch of a mother, bundled them in such a way that only their little heads were sticking out, each off to one side.
“I love you, little one,” Serena said, gently stroking the sleeping owl’s head for a few minutes. She’d seen the doubt in Star’s eye, and she wasn’t the first one to raise concerns about her motivations and methods. “Maybe you’ll be able to teach him to enjoy himself?” she continued, a little absent mindedly, and, ever so slowly, pushed Star’s pacifier back into her short, feline muzzle, then gently scratched behind an ear, “I certainly hope so. You’ve both got a lot to gain from being cubs.”
Without another word, she stood, raised the bars of the crib and locked them in place, leaving the two deeply loved cubs to sleep away the evening, and, hopefully, bond a bit when they woke up. They’d make excellent playmates, Serena was sure of it.

Long story, but the gist of it is, in the main canon of his storyline, that he's an immortal shapeshifter that's changed bodies, identities, and personalities so many times that he no longer has a solid, individual self. He can take on or leave behind any personality trait at will, so he often refers to his true self as Psudo, from the original Greek 'pseudo,' meaning fake or synthetic, because he no longer has any true, individual identity.
