I was watching a playthrough of Arc Rise Fantasia and became intrigued by this character's design. Her personality and voice-acting are just as gnarly as that dress! The game itself looks like a fairly standard RPG, but with some interesting quirks and features, particularly its spin on the traditional turn-based battle system.

I'm reluctant cuz the bosses on the game get seriously hard and i had my ass handed to me many times after a certain point. And all during unfair timing of the enemies like their special attack would ALWAYS hit the one chara who was going to use the healing item. Or even a boss would crit with his speciall on ALL the targets, on the FIRST turn.
Shit gets hard bro =n=;

I know. It did keep me genuinely challenged. The game is basically Grandia with a "cleverly hard" patch built on. Timing is everything, and actually deciding whether it would be better to heal or defend would keep any turn-based strategist guessing. The optional enemies for mission points were a different plate of fish entirely and generally even harder than anything you encounter at that point.
Don't even get me started on optional enemies. There was one that i thought it was a normal one. When the guitar came in (btw, great soundtrack) i yelled: NOOOO!!!
It was right after a hard boss that introduced a new mechanic. I didn't heal because normally there's a save point after bosses. That was cheap >:[

Yeah the story progression is the best part, as is the music. The dub is horrid beyond words (originally it was going to have a professional one by XSEED but it got dropped when they lost the rights to localize the game sadly). Only one single character had a great dub voice and took his lines seriously.
This sort of picture really speaks to the fantastical potential of your art.
Much the way that Disgaea seemingly defined it's own place in gaming through a mix of charming dialogue and beautiful character design,
I feel as though the Green aesthetic has so much strength on it's own that it could define a genre of games purely on looks alone.
