Uh oh. xD Looks like someone left one of the temple's shutters open and two intruders found their way inside. At least they don't look interested in stealing any of the temple's many gold decorations, though I wouldn't be surprised if a bemused monk found a good many of them overturned or broken. These two might just want to play, but they don't strike me as particularly mindful of what they play -on-.
This started out as a pencil sketch for a friend's birthday, but the sketch was so messy that I didn't think I could salvage it in a gift-worthy form... so I ended up inking the lines, which led to embellishing them, which in turn led to cross hatching the background. xD; I just can't seem to stop when I've got a pen in my hands.
Yay for playful Easterns and their super bendy spines. xD
oh! If anyone's interested, I wouldn't mind making some prints of this to sell. Just send me a note! I may or may not end up coloring it, since they look pretty good as lines.

D'aww, this is adorable and awesome. I do quite like it as an ink myself, I'm not sure what effect colour would have on it, but I'm pretty sure it's better as an ink already x3 I love the amount of detail you put into it and the interesting way they interact, and the poses are intense, hah. It's awesome, well done!
I do love it when inspiration strikes and things just flow out onto the paper. It started out with the idea of having a curvy, snakey eastern curling up around a pillar, then a second one to be playing with it... and things just went from there. xD
They are a fun kind of dragon to draw, and one I'm not too bad at. The poses are fun, aren't they? xD its fun to mess with ways to have the front half doing something a bit different than the back half, while the whole thing is just a long curving line.
