Artistic. Modern. I'm completely lost what happens here. Maybe she is a vegetarian and suffers to see so much meat? Perhaps she is cleaning the house of dead relative and cries for the memories? Maybe she doesn't like carrying carbage away? Any way, very intriguing story, quite bold move to give so little to the reader, I presume many can't think on their own and you get very few or very confused comments. Nice little piece.
I love this! It'll be poking me in the back of the head all day. Very strong in the provocation of wondering what else is unwritten. Just enough, not too much. Perfect amount for me. The absence, or voids in the fabric of a story when placed naturally and/or artfully are my favorite parts of written word. Thanks Mal!
Hey, thanks. There are some clues in there as to what *I* was thinking about, but one of my intentions in this piece was to let the reader also build their stories around what's written. The inspiration, if you want to call it that, is in thinking how inanimate objects gain meaning from the contexts we place around them... like, that t-shirt you were wearing the day you got the news that your favorite grandfather died is then linked to that feeling.
But hey, I wrote it quickly. If it conveys meaning to people, then that's great and really all I ask. :)
