NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! dont kill spidey!!!
i must save him, i will take him to a place where he will not be a bother, ^_^
im going to admit this:
when i was in history class once in high school, a spider slowly repelled from the celing next to my desk,
a girl saw it and just before she could smash it i interrupted the class and lept out of my desk, and cupped my hands around the lil' guy.
i slid a paper under him and carried him over to the window and let him go,
it totally freaked everyone out and after that no one ever messed with me lol
Spiders kill flys and other pests, Bats do too,
now if it was a roach or a fly, by all means kill the lil bastard XD
but spiders are nice to keep around.
i had one make a really beautiful web outside my window beside my computer one year and i got to watch him grow up. (my desk lamp attracted moths to the window and he ate them so we sort of co-existed)
dont be afraid of spider bites. they only bite if you bug them,
and if they bother you enough to make you want them "out"
PLEASE try and relocate him by using a jar or something instead of killing him,
please?

I had crab for dinner the other night XD and they remind me of the "face grabbers" from the movie ALIEN but that didnt stop me from snapping their legs open and grubbing out
but i seriously that your friendly neighborhood spiderman would be holding you at gunpoint,
unless you messed his web up and was threating to kill him with a mop lol
but then could ya blame him?
he dont look like hes holding a gun, he looks like he was just hanging out minding his own business whistling a tune waiting for a fly to nom on.
i always try to save spiders from getting killed, but dont think of me like some vegan activist for peta, i just don't like to see such a fascinating creature killed in a quick act of fear.
i can understand getting creeped out by them, hell there have been plenty of times i have been sitting there and one just started crawling across the celing and freaked me out,
but instead of grabbing the nearest roll of paper to mash him with i reach for a cup, jar or even my hand sometimes and grab the lil fella and take him outside.
im just a little weird thats all.

rember these creatures outnumber humans by a factor of over a million to one and that they have been around at least a billion years longer then us ^_^

ok i admit i consulted wikipedia for the real name but i already knew they were harmless and couldn't spin webs XD
but its true, you have more of a chance of dying while chewing bubblegum then you do if someone were to dump a bucket of grand-daddy-long-legs on you.
you could choke on the gum, but the poor little spiders wont do a thing.
(can you imagine? a whole bucket of them? that would just look awesome)
the spider in the pic i linked to was sitting atop a leafy plant in a web it made,
i got real close to it to take its picture and it didnt even care.
but if i were to have touched it or its web i could have easily gotten bit,
the beginning of this summer i looked up at my ceiling above my room and noticed that a spider egg had hatched somewhere and hundreds of tiny spiders were crawling across my ceiling so i used a piece of paper to scrape most of them in a cup i took outside.
even though it did freak me out a little.
(i didn't want spiders EVERYWHERE but i don't care if a couple set up camp)
then i made a papercraft ceiling-cat (google it) to glue up there and watchover me XD

j/k i know people have their fears and they have a right to them
i just wish more people were a little more edjucated about
what they are squishing, cause some lifeforms are less harmful and
more helpful and they tend to get a bad reputation simply
cuz they are creepy <_< jeez i sound like a lawyer for a spider... O_o
