Thats very very cool, the colors and the color scheme, and the textures, Great detail and very cool setup. Its beautiful put together, and it being outside gives it a nice contrast. It really shows how dark the picture is!

I am amazed you drew that at your school however, especially with a tastefully (or tactfully?) hidden sheath... Still very much happy you /did/ create this work of art, though! *g*

I'm not so sure how much is my own colored imagination and how much is from your work, but I must ask... would love, or desire have any relation to the title of this piece? And I'm naturally curious about the large "M", although this feline has some ideas about that too...

XP yeah my teacher in school (highschool when I painted it) laughed when he saw the sheath. Most people in my class didn't really comment though, but sorta stared. =P


As for the MEANING, yup, I could get deep into detail and explain everything, but to sum it up, it's about desire of friendship and love. the "M" on KEto's tummy.....the "E" on Gabu's tummy.... spell out "Me"... so as corny as this is, what it means is, someone needs someone else to be complete.... that kinda messege. =P

*lol* sounds like a rather nice class, even still! That would have been the best-case scenario that I could have imagined playing out... although most of that is just because the highschool I graduated from was a private (Christian) school. I doubt I need say anymore!! *g*

I'll admit I didn't consciously pick up on the "E", despite having looked at your artwork for a bit by now (Saw it on y! first). Whether the imbued meaning is corny or not (I'd say not!), I do completely agree with the message...

Out of (admittedly selfish!) feline curiosity, do you still occasionally paint with acrylics?

Acrylics are the only paints I currently use =3

I absolutely loved this pic from the first time I saw it dude. I envy your talent with real media so much. If I had buckets of money to spare, I'd constantly be commissioning you for pieces like this and your emotion series (Give me your Envy/Attention/Malice/etc).

I actually DID wanna do a gabumon painting again though... and another Keto painting.... but not messy.

I love the messy stuff still, and will do some again in the future.... YOU could try it out though, I'm sure you could do it. ;3

And I dunno if I could do it, like... I've always only been able to do anything good by being careful and precise. I can't just throw stuff on there but also manage to craft it into something awesome while doing so. When I try to do something messy, it's just.... a mess. It's like, anyone can do something clean if they are slow and careful enough, but to be able to make something look messy AND coherent at the same time, takes a lot more talent. X_x
