Hey, guys! :3 So I've been inspired, lately, by this character design in my head. I wanted so much to draw her but I was sort of worried about whether or not people would react negatively to a pony wearing my attempt at drawing a hijab. It's definitely not very good, but I'm going to work on getting better at that uwu;;;
Anyway, this is Cosmic Rain (I believe it would be phonetically spelled Alkuni Almakr but if not please feel free to correct me).
She is a singer/performer from Saddle Arabia. I chose that specific place because it's already been canonically ponified in the show and I wouldn't have to think too hard. XD Plus, doing my research a bit, they do speak Arabic there as a national language, unless Google lied to me. uwu;;
Her breed is a mix between Fresian and Arabian, if you're wondering why she has hoof fluffs. :3c
ANYWAY! I'm not going to delve into any religious aspects so I can avoid negative crap :U But I will bring it up one of these days when it's more fleshed out and I know more about Muslim culture. *hits the books*
If you speak Arabic or are Muslim, I would actually love if you commented with advice/tips on furthering this character along!
