Been a while since I posted anything up here...
Anyway, static418 put in a lot of work fixing up my laser cutter so it is functional again (I've had it for a while, but the laser tube blew up in December due to a failure of the water cooling system). Static put in an internal water cooling system so this should hopefully help keep the thing running. :D
One of the first experiments I wanted to do with the laser was to make badges! I made one for myself as an experiment and I think it was fairly successful.
Thinking about offering commissions of these sometime soon! Not super sure how much to charge (factoring in the art and the badge), but I would say maybe in the $30 range including a full-color headshot image of your character? I'm not 100% if I am ready to take on any commissions for these right away (as FWA is coming up really soon and I have a lot to do still), but feel free to email me or note me if you're interested in something like this. I'll be offering other laser cut stuff soon too, including toony fursuit eye blanks!!

one thing to make these better (I have one of each way and I by FAR like the way this one is over the other one I have) Instead of punching it, invest in some nametag magnets that adhere to the back. If you find the ones with 3 magnets (Ive seen them on Ebay), then you can still hook a badge clip to them, but you don't have the bent top from punching it, and you don't have the hole in the top. now of course, there's always gonna be those people who want you to still punch it, but, with the magnets, they just seem to look a little bit better.
