This is Emma, Champion of Oria. And formerly a slave.

Emma is a young woman with very little in her past. Born a slave the only family she knows is her older sister Lena. As she grew up she was sold from one Slave owner to another. Her sister doing her best to shield young Emma from the worst of it. This was her life until one day she was chosen by the Gods of Oria to become a mighty Champion. to fight and protect the world. She had no knowledge of this until two people arrived at the Inn she worked and lived in.

they were strangers, asking every jackal woman that worked at the Inn if they knew Ice Magic. most shied away. fearful of the master's wrath. Magic in general being forbidden to the slaves. Ice magic itself was unheard of. Until Lena was questioned. seeing this chance, she risked her own life to give her younger sister a chance at freedom. Knowing full well that her sister had Ice magic. the first person to ever have it.

Emma was taken away, pulled from slavery and made a free woman. She vows to take full advantage of her freedom and one day free her sister as well.

in the mean time Emma must learn quickly how to fight, how to control her powerful abilities, and help keep her world safe along with her fellow Champions. It will be a difficult path. Emma's years as a slave have made her meek and naive. unlearned in how the world truly works. But her new friends will show her the way. Teach her, nurture her into the strong confident woman she was meant to be.

she wields an ancient scythe forged by her people long ago. and enchanted throwing knives that return to her as needed, and also transfer her magic into the targets. she may not be skilled, yet. but she is a fast learner.
