I decided to take some 'Pseudo' Silent Hillish shots of my room / house, and this was one of the resulting stills. I' am very pleased with how it came out, but didn't realize how much the Photograph would bloom (in terms of relative area.)
So, Photographers Commentary (aka, "My Pictures Thousand Words")
Inanimate objects -- neat, huh? In plain view, there's no mystery about them: They're you're Coffee Mugs, Computers, Television Sets, Pens and stuffed animals. However, a closer analysis might reveal something that's certainly more interesting -or- foreboding. First and foremost, appropriately consider what this still was attempting to 'capture':
Is it the inter-emotional kinship from a days torment?
Could it be of an anthropomorphized or imaginary friend?
Or is it the refuge of a child's imagination?
Maybe, after escaping the day's woes, you'll find that it can be an excellent 'anything'. Yet, on the days and nights where my bedroom becomes haunted with an unsettingly queer moment, the plush huskies stare, is akin to that of a predator. So, unless 'it's' wearing a hat or tucked away deep inside my closet, then it will stare at a corner of my room.
