A few months back, I'd posted a doodle of 'Waffles' the mule ("Topiary Model"), which was originally drawn on the back of one of those FDOT (Florida Department of Transportation) fliers. I was working as a toll collector at the time, and during lulls between receiving the money from motorists, I would draw 'Waffles' in various situations. Well, there was enough room on that same flier for me to render one more image of the overeating equine. It's a simple solution to the problem of making the mule mobile again (following one of his eating binges)...

Correct. Oddly enough, this 2005 visual gag of mine predates a similar one featured in Disney/Pixar's next CGI feature film "Up" (coming out in 2009) - in which a small two-story house (occupied by a senior citizen) is suspended in the air by thousands of helium-filled toy balloons. (Check out the 'first look' trailer for the film on the Internet.) Naturally, I don't expect 'Waffles' to feel comfortable with extra balloons tied around his middle (possibly suspending the mule in midair); Just the ones keeping his belly off the ground and making him mobile (once again) should suffice.
