This is a wonderful piece. I admire and appreciate the detail added in. I also like how you unified your foreground and background.

My only critique would be that I don`t feel the visual connection between the submissive and dominant wolf. I feel that the submissive wolf is looking out in the open, or is in a daze, and that the alpha is looking off at the left and not at what hes snarling at. His pupils seem a bit large for this situation aswell. I think theyd be much smaller with this intimidating expression. If the pupils were smaller, and looking more downward I think it would arrange this issue. And if the submissive wolf were looking up and directly at his adversary.
Just my two cents though.

Great body positioning. You definitely have the dominance/submission display down here. I don't like to critique without asking, but someone has already mentioned the point I would have pointed out as well. The dominant wolf's eyes would be cut lower and downward focused intently on the subordinant/submissive pack member. The submissive pack member may cut eyes away or look off almost in placation though. You can get the sort of eye positions you have displayed here, but it's a brief moment in time and doesn't translate the dominance/submission display as well. I love the piece and hope you don't see this commentary as negative, but instead just informative. Your work is wonderful =)
