Heather, the lady hammerhead shark, meets her soulmate Placid, the lady alligator, after the reptile literally falls into her future girlfriend's lap much to the dismay of Melissa, the young lady sperm whale, who had been hoping for the chance at being Heather's girl.
Sometime later in their relationship, Placid will admit to Heather that the "accident" had been carefully arranged instead as a way of meeting the hammerhead.

At one point last year, I was on a shark character kick for a month or so. During that time, I redrew a few of the old sketches over completely, trying to finish them as graphite pieces. That's why this one looks so much better. I have some others I redid that should be showing up in the next several days.
I'm quite curious about how things would go if Melissa got involved with Heather and Placid afterwards...Like, the whale wouldn't break the couple apart but she'd still have her chances with Heather.
And how ironic if it were Placid to fall into her arms first!
