This is a piece that follows the events in the Brian Jacques novel "Martin the Warrior" leading up to her death. This piece uses the tune I used for the song of my previous upload: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16182029/ If you listen to that first, you will recognize it as it is reused and re-harmonized throughout this piece. This piece actually predated the song. The song is in two movements. The first being the narrative titled "The Sycamore", and the second "The Roving River" being a sort of funeral march and remembrance.
