playing around with characters and styles; this piece was inspired by the classic french poster art Tournee du Chat Noir, and its color style, while this does deviates alot from its look. I find that limiting my palette actually opens up what I can accomplish though :3 So, I figure a darkhouse is the opposite of a lighthouse, and this'd be a fun mystery story.. least I was feeling in a literary mood doin this. I wish Id got the red color corrected better, its alot deeper more victorian print-like in person. My little bro owns it now, and it was modified a bit more from when I scanned it- the pic now has text ripped in lines underneath it, which read something along the lines of "Chapter 1: Elliot ran down the beach.." and went into something sweet about seeking an answer he knew was there, and mentioned a darkhouse.. like a lighthouse only sinister.. its beam casting darkness over the land.. collapsing into the waves as he ran from it..

Wish I could remember it now, I added it all on Christmas Eve when I decided to give it to him. Mom confiscated it and put it in her special box after that so I was kinda bummed. I meant it for him but maybe he didnt care for it
