I'm so happy to have the chance to get one of these guys. He's such a cute little horsy and will be great fun in the pool. I can already tell he'll be good to snuggle with too given his soft, textured vinyl. Gotta work on a fitting name for the little guy (as always it's hard to do).

I also have one from 2008, but yours has a lighter color.
There're at least 3 versions of the Poolmaster horse. http://i634.photobucket.com/albums/.....pstgdqx0ui.jpg

They're totally awesome in a wave pool. https://youtu.be/cgCt5ATUoL8

Oh yeah, I was totally thinking of your wave pool video when I bought him. He's such a great toy. His head is very snuggly and that lightly textured vinyl is great. As for the coloration, I'm not sure. The box said Yin Arts and not poolmaster so maybe it was some sort of offbrand. Now if only it didn't have the second set of handles .
The 2008 version has the two pair of handles close together, so you can find a place to sit somewhat comfortable. But the newer versions have more space between them, you always sit on the back handles and they press into your thighs.
Oh, and this is another version. But I don't know if it's original Poolmaster. http://inflatethemall.com/toys/view/14643

Rocking is quite fun, but I bet he'll be even more fun in the water. I also enjoy the lifelike reindeer for a bit of rocky/bouncy fun. That area of whitish paint near the neck provides a perfect balance of bouncy and rocky from my experience. Also a good area to give his head some hugs while riding :).
