Step 1: Draw a supermodel anime body with slightly higher heels.
Step 2: Add the feet, tail and ears of desire.
Step 3: Choose between a flat cute face or a handsome snout face.
Step 4: Role your character through a random color palette.
Step 5: Don't forget the d*for your horse girl!

Okay, this is not a serious rant and honestly: people can enjoy whatever they like :)

It is just that the more I look around for artworks of certain anthro types the more I question why I search at all. I basically never can tell dragons apart from winged lizards or winged snake anthros. I can’t tell when a character is a blue husky or a blue wolf. And for female characters there seems to be the same thing going on that turned my interest in Anime characters down. The same stereotypes over and over and over and over again. Even in design.
I feel like everybody uses some 3D model as a base and just draws details on top.

When looking for female characters I always end up in the same hand full of galleries because apparently nobody else even tries to do something different than the big-boob super model hourglass bodies for once. (Am I really the only one whom likes a-cups???)
No matter what species, what breed, what day I always find the same body. The whole reason why I prefer anthros over human art is because they have so much creative potential. You can add so much to them and no, I don’t mean rainbow fur and glowing genitals.
You can do so many anatomies, so many different instincts and cultural behavior. There is so much potential to create a species and fill it with detail.
B-but super model hourglass bodies!!!
