Working on a personal project, if everything works well it will end as a shoot-em-up game,
since I'm not used at all to work on pixel art, I decided to begin with GameBoy graphics style (with less restrictions),
main inspirations come from "Parodius" SNES, "MegaMan" series NES, and "StarFox" series SNES/N64,
I'm using a program called Construct2, it allows to create complete games with no coding knowledge, which is awesome =D
my only problem is the Music part, I may ask someone to care about it, or I will have to learn using FruityLoops ^^;;
I'll post updates while the project will progress ^^

Well a smaller screen would shorten the player's view, 16/9 ratio fits well to shoot-em-up games to me :3
Also, the first GameBoy had 4 colors pattern only (background, light grey, dark grey, black) http://www.oldiesrising.com/images_.....0Land%2023.jpg

There's no deadline when you begin creating your first game. Take your time on the game and ensure that it is fun and eye catching to where many would play it. That is what's more important. I'm still learning to doing a little music, but I'm at the moment wanting to take my time on doing drawings to gain new friends that will give this Koopa some a lot of support.
