Grout wasn't always a gator boy and he wasn't always called grout! in his early years he was a human who had always had a love for "gross" things although being a quiet nervous-y child he always kept this passion to himself. in his teenage years He found out a few miles away from his house there was a swamp so he started sneaking off there when no one was paying attention to him to just lay in and enjoy the murky waters. Into his young adult years outside of his normal life he continued swamp hunting always trying to find the best places and the best spots for him to indulge in until one night his taboo hobby got him into some dark waters! (ba-dum-tish) He wandered into a swamp watched over by a Which who decided to enchant the waters to transform anyone who dared enter Their territory! Thus transforming Grout into what he is today! despite his physical change Grout still has his old mind so he's almost constantly embarrassed(?) by his new form
