This particular line style is DAMNED hard to pull off. I don't know how the pros do it. I'm sure they're a lot smarter about it. Probably use pro-white and a #5 sable brush to draw in the white lines.

I did the exact opposite. I just drew the black areas out and filled them in, making sure not to touch the areas where the white line work ended up. :P (It's easier for me to show it, then to explain it. :P Just take my word for it. It was a pain in the ass. ;))
