Herein is a picture of a rather interesting creature, Tyriax. A Zekrom/Mega Banette hybrid. There are a couple things to take note about Tyriax. First off, he is within a permanently Mega state, as a result of being fused with a Legendary. Secondly, Tyriax is one half of a serious split-personality complex. Whenever the personality shifts, the body shifts with it in size, power, and gender. Tyriax is the male counterpart of this duo, and is the more Banette-dominant size of the pair. His counterpart, Tyriane, is the Zekrom counterpart, as is much larger and stronger physically. It is important to note that the wings of this hybrid are useful, but the tail is utilized as an anti-gravity unit, essentially allowing this hybrid two means of flight.

Personality and Backstory:

Tyriax is the trying, but reserved one of the two personalities. He likes to tease and mess with people's heads, but he's not one for outwardly harming others unless he absolutely has to. He prefers conversation over fighting, and can be a reasonable individual to hold a conversation with. He may come off as a tad shy on initial impressions, but he can be a friendly individual to those he's warmed to. As such, he can be classified as a slow-warmer who's friendly once his trust is gained.

How and why Tyriax is what he is is a interesting, yet not unexpected tale. As with a manner similar to Garen, Tyriax was the result of experiments with fusing Mega Pokemon with other potential test subjects. For Tyriax's case, this was fusing Mega Pokemon with Legendaries to test if the possible combination would produce a skilled, powerful, and loyal fusion. While the process was a success in fusing Tyriax, whom was a male Banette at the time, with a Zekrom, it forcibly yanked his mind in two, giving the normally genderless Zekrom half the female side of Tyriax's mind, essentially splitting the two into two personalities within the same body. As a result of the fuse and the volatility of Mega Evolution, the two were forced into an existence where only one of the two personalities could be active at any one point, and that their body would forcibly change every time one of the other personalities was given control. Tyriax maintains the Banette dominant side of the fusion, while his counterpart, Tyriane, maintains the Zekrom dominant side of the fusion. Not much else is known about the event that spawned them, since they won't tell me much aside from that, but it's clear that conducting experiments with Mega Evolutions is a highly volatile and dangerous process. It is unknown if Tyriax is hostile towards scientists or humans in general, but it can be discerned that he seems to have no ill feelings about his body as it is.
