These cute little creatures can be found in healthy forests from all over Europe but if you want to see one in their natural habitat you’ll have to be very lucky because they can hide very well. Only experienced people are able to see them or catch one.
There isn’t many studies about this misterious creatures but is know that there are many different subspecies, adapted to different climates and habitats. Although they look like animals they combine features of both plant and animal world and they can feed like a plant, eating soil, drinking water and doing the photosynthesis, although sometimes they also like to eat berries and seeds. It’s still unknown how they reproduce but some experts think they do through eggs or seeds.
They usually build their homes inside trees or underground and they live in groups, creating small communities.
These are very kind and paceful creatures that like to help every creature in the forest. *
