Another picture of the commissioned opossum forest spirit to show the size :)
Commission for nayan-and-me at DA who gave me artistic freedom to create a "forest spirit" opossum doll themed.
I wanted a simple and clean design so I just added a few fantasy touches like the little deer antlers and a green coat which looks like grass or moss, but keeping a realistic shape.
Face is sculpted with super sculpey clay over an epoxy clay base (the horns are completely made of epoxy to prevent breakage), hands and feet are made of super sculpey firm and everything painted with acryli paint and sealed for a better protection of the paint.
Body is handsewn faux fur and it's soft ( no armature inside). Tail is made of polar fleece and has a wire inside so it can be bent.
The body have some sand and plastic pellets inside to give a realistic weight.
