Sothis is one of the characters of the trilogy she's writting, he is the Blue Sun Dog and there are four others like him: Black, Yellow, Red, and Brown.

This doll is very special to me because it's my very first one featuring movable jaws and jointed legs, and he literally took forever I think I've fainted.
I had to do a lot of testing and adjustments to make them work properly, this is what took me longer.

But finally he's done and I'm proud of it! I am a dummy! and I loved to make this character because he so interesting and different from everything I've done before.

(* mental note, next thing to try: ball jointed legs for some of my resin dolls)

Ooak doll, everything is handmade on here. Fully hand-sculpted from the tiny teeth to the joints on the paws, hand-painted and also sewn by hand. The body is a combo of quality faux furs as always and I had to cut the mane and tail to do this "staggered look", the spots on the body are painted by hand and I had to make the long black fur tufts out of combing yarn because I think there's any fur fabric with such a long pile out there. He is fully armatured with a plastic ball and socket system, and as I've told before, the sculpted legs and jaws are also moveable :) (Smile)
