[Yookey] My Beloved Teddy Ruxpin
So the story goes behind this picture. Sparky here is asleep here in bed, he wakes up, feeling lonely, climbs out of his bed and goes over to his toy chest. And retrieves his beloved Teddy Ruxpin.
The reason for this picture is as follows:
I first got my Teddy Ruxpin when I was 4 years old at Christmas 1985. I only ever got to take him home a handful of times. He stayed over at my grandmother's house for nights when I slept over. At some point over the years I left him there one final time, and never got to bring him home again until last year.
Exactly one year ago to the date, April 9th, 2014 at 4:25 PM. I recovered him from my grandmother's house, so this picture celebrates one whole year of him being back in my possession and in the best of care he's had for his entire life time.
Unfortunately when I recovered him, I noticed his lower jaw was busted, I eventually found someone who was kind enough to repair him and also un-stick his motors.
Ever since that day he has worked flawlessly.
No words can describe my eternal love for him, he's one of the few things in this world that helps me to relax, de-stress and truly feel safe and secure.
**I do not want to hear any negative comments in regard to Teddy Ruxpin being creepy and whatnot. Any such comments will be hidden and/or deleted.**
