I LOVE IT it's so cute and i'm glad kids these days have such a positive show to watch, especially with all the strong female leads. i love it. god bless this show

YEAH IM SOOOo glad plus the art direction for this show amazes me constantly the backgrounds are sooo nice and all the characters are accepted regardless of gender/presentation and im like. this is so good. so solid i love it

I don't know if that episode takes place in the 80's. We know that Greg dropped out of community college, so he's likely in his late teens early 20s (I'll say 20). If Steven Universe takes place in the current year, right now , Greg would be between 45 and 55, and he doesn't seem that old. I think it is more early 90's. Most likely is 1993, there's still the influence of 80s style and music.
Also, it would make sense with Marty being Sour Cream's father. If Sour Cream was conceived that night, he was likely born in 1994, making him 21 this year... I'm over thinking this, aren't I
