The glasses were crucial to her design. It took me forever to realize what was missing on her when I first made her, lol.

There are many techniques, but mine is a balaclava base, moving jaw. It's most just upholstery foam, hot glue, and fur!
If you have a LiveJournal, there's a community called "fursuit" where people help each other with building fursuits. It's a MAJOR help!

Yanno, the glasses you made for her make her Very unique: And they Don't look like a standard "Human" pair of glasses that most others use that just dont look right, nor are they the big Toony glasses: with Your suits glasses, the bridge is properly sized for the muzzle! And they seem to be "factory" : that is they dont look hand made at all...

Designed them after my own glasses in Illustrator then cut them out of acrylic on the laser cutter at work. I've started doing them for commission now, since it seems a lot of people have characters who are supposed to wear glasses. =^_^=

Nice niche market on Fursuit Eyewear ya have there :) Definitely a good way to make some extra pocket change! Defurnately congrats! You oughtta come up with a few "standard" styles and keep a few in inventory, and charge a little extra for "custom" designs. Remember to calculate everything when it comes to figuring out your raw material cost, including time spent for setup (What is your time worth to you) and the power used by the cutter: while it may not cost much Now *winkwinknudgenudge*, you may wish to consider picking up your own equiptment in the future.

You do have something here that quite potentially can become a hobby out of control... don't sell yourself short!!!!

Do you do these as commissions? How much would you charge? These look great!

So far I've only made two, PunkCat and a German Shepherd. I testing the waters for commissions though with friends, so maybe in the future. =)

Awh man, I'll certainly have to keep an eye on the status of you taking commissions for these, since i'll certainly need to find some (or manufacture) glasses for my suit, and these look brilliant :)
