Blood moon howlers small bio
This species of were-creature, nicknamed 'Moon Howlers', may seem similar to others, but they have a different way of spawning during the night; They only appear in the real world when the phase of the moon is red.
This period of time is when they feed, their primary source of sustenance coming from the blood of their victims. This energy is then stored during their long bouts of hibernation.
The chains bound around their limbs help keep their strength and agility up during the hunts.
These were-creatures are swift and stealthy; A necessity due to the short window of oppertunity that is presented when a blood moon occurs. A blood moon takes place when the Earth blocks out the sun and casts it's shadow upon the Moon, this lasts approximately one to one-and-a-half hours.
A feral form is also available to them via a metamorphosis process and this allows them to hunt in an even more efficient manner.
'Moon Howlers' live in small dens where they hibernate until the next lunar eclipse.
