Second submission of the day! =D Whoo hoo! Not as cute as the first though
Anyway this is ANOTHER pic I was working on before things went to hell and just now got back around to finishing it. You might recognize these two (well, since there only described I guess not) from one of my latest Heavy Weight stories... if not linking it below~

Don't have many words to mince here so lets cut to the chase and meet the meat... and I dunno if there were intentional butcher jokes in that or not. Huh...
Name: Ichiro Gorotsuki
Gender: Male
Species: Emboar
Age: 18
Height: 7’11”
Weight: 398 lbs
Ability: Reckless
Info:
Born in a small city to a traditionalist Pangoro father and a Emboar mother with a long history of large mon in her family it was clear from an early age Ichiro was exceptional. He was much bigger and much stronger than other children and, despite Thick Fat, commanded the fear of other kids in the neighborhood from an early age. Due to being aggressive and competitive even at a young age Ichiro became known as a bit of a bully due to constantly getting into fights and looking for new challenges to test his abilities. These traits only grew as he got older with the tepig showing little interest or patience in anything that he deemed weak… friendship and his little brother included. He was entirely motivated by his aggression and need to get stronger…
Ichiro refuses to discuss the incident that happened, around when he was 8 and had evolved into a pignite way ahead of schedule, but whatever happened led to a radical change in the fire types personality and attitude… as well as got him held back a grade. While Ichiro still respected strength and power above most things he was no long willing to beat up anybody over it or use it to bluntly push around those weaker. He dropped his bullying ways in favor of finding actual CHALLENGE opponents who could push him to his limit and make him get stronger… as well as the fact if he needed to get any aggression out he’d discovered that doing it in the arena was much more effective and less likely to land you in detention or get you suspended.
Another major change was how Ichiro treated his little brother Jiro. Beforehand Ichiro was dismissive if not outright hostile to the little piglet, particularly concerning Jiro’s hero worship of him. Whatever incident changed his attitude towards bullying also changed how he treated his little brother as Ichiro started to take great measures to try and set a good (by his standards) example for his little brother and try to look out for him. By the same measure of strength he holds himself to Ichiro won’t just automatically bail his little brother out of trouble, especially if he feels Jiro can handle it himself, but when the piglet gets in over his head or gets messed with by an outside force Ichiro is there to help and/or make the person messing with his brother very, very sorry.
This newfound protectiveness and urge to be a good big brother extended beyond just Jiro. Ichiro extends the same to other “little kids” he might meet, showing infinitely more patience and gentleness with them then he would others and showing far more temper then normal whenever he caught anyone messing with them, particularly people who are drastically stronger than their victims. Even with these new attitude adjustments Ichiro still had several of his old problems, his strongest being his massive pride and ego which cause problems since he tends to ignore the advice and suggestions of people he doesn’t respect… including several authority figures. Over time he’s gotten better and begrudgingly listens but he still can be stubborn enough to make you want to smack him… which oddly enough is usually the first step to getting his respect.
Either way his shaping up was enough to get him through school without any further major incidents… besides multiple cases of “Bashing the bully” as the teacher called it where he caught someone picking on a younger weaker student and some warnings about “Unnecessary Force” in the ring. Most noticeably he became the star of his school’s battling major, though the supervisor noticed he tended to lean on his incredibly high nature strength and endurance over actual skill. He excelled enough in battling, along with entering a few small scale tournaments during a few summers, that he was noticed for the possibility of a scholarship to the PCA despite his poor grades (D’s and C’s) when the time for high school came around. The idea of new and stronger opponents was too tantalizing for Ichiro to pass up and the idea of their son getting into such a famous academy proved too good for his parents to refuse, so the pignite soon found himself on the way to Viridian City.
Where it turned out the PCA had plenty of fighters better than Ichiro skill wise even if his strength and endurance were still impressive for his age. This served to both frustrate and excite the pig since he hadn’t had a good challenge in a while. Naturally this forced the pignite to start to refine his style into something other than pure violence… till he ended up evolving way earlier than expected again and, now an emboar, switched gears completely. Ichiro still worked to actually build up skill and refine his style but with his new power and abilities the fire type dove even further into the art of brutality rather than away from it. Crafting a vicious and visually impressive, as well as terrifying, style got him several reprimands from the teachers and eventually forced him to refine and tone it down. Despite that the style worked an let him achieve and impressive battle record at the academy.
When coupled with Ichiro's brutal fighting style, which already left most people terrified of him, the fact the ember was a giant who looked intimidating led to Ichiro becoming notorious for his “Acts of Violence” among the students… which, like back in grade school, were usually aimed at bullies who picked on people weaker than them. Despite this and Ichiro’s association with two bullies (who were more or less minions/personal punching bags for him) the big pig was approached by a grumping named Ray on the possibilities of joining a group called Team Heavy Weights… which Ichiro declined out of hand since he had zero respect for Ray. It was only when Grace the Hariyama mentioned it to him that Ichiro even bothered considering this since he considered the fighting type strong enough to be worthy of respect. After a quick and brutal match between the two where Ichiro lost the pig was more than happy to join up with the team…
Under the provision they get an official fourth member first since he was aware that three membered teams tend to not be taken seriously by much of the academy. As of yet the group hasn’t achieved this condition but Ichiro stands by his word and will happily join when they do… as long as the fourth member is someone he can respect more than Ray anyway. Beyond that the only major thing affect Ichiro at the moment is the fact his baby brother has joined the PCA, which the emboar couldn’t be more proud of. Naturally he’s taken to showing Jiro the ropes of the school… and mercilessly beating any bully who so much as looks at the piglet wrong.
Moves:
Freshmen – Body Slam, Flame Charge, Arm Thrust, Odor Sleuth
Sophomore – Heat Crash, Flare Blitz, Take Down, Head Smash
Junior – Wild Charge, Hammer Arm, Gyro Ball, Iron Head
Senior – Scald*, Assurance*, Flamethrower*, Zen Headbutt*
* still learning
Fighting Style:
Before he evolved halfway through his freshmen year Ichiro was working on creating a style that could compensate for his slow movement speed… which went out the window when he became an Emboar in favor of mercilessly abusing his new ability Reckless. Stocking up on every recoil move he could learn Ichiro crafted a brutally violent style where he uses his extremely high natural endurance and strength to slam the opponent around like a rag doll and simple weathers the damage he takes in recoil. Turning his matches into a quick and flashy affairs with a “Who gets who last” bend since this also means if the opponent can land enough blows back on Ichiro the pig will knock himself out with his own recoil. This is a weakness that faster opponents and those with self-recovery abilities have exploited which is what cost him the match with Grace.
Ichiro also incorporates touches of his original plan of compensating for his slow speed… though in a different way. He USES the fact most opponents out-pace him to his advantage to power up his Gyro Ball as a high speed spinning tackle that can put most people into the arena wall, even using Hammer Arm to help slow him down and boost his power if need be. Beyond this Ichiro also has a fondness for using his extreme weight and size against his opponent… by dropping it on top of them with Body Slam or Heat Crash. This means the majority of his pre-senior moveset is used as charging tackles/headbutts or body slams with Arm Thrust being the only odd attacking move out… but when he does use it Ichiro uses his long arms to turn the attack into a poking move, jabbing at the opponent from further away then they’d think possible and keeping them off balance.
Another obvious flaw in Ichiro’s style is beyond his charging tackles/headbutts the pigs slow movement speed makes it almost impossible for him to chase down faster opponents and next to no way to deal with more agile opponents since his sheer mass makes tight maneuvering difficult for him. Another glaring flaw is the fact that till his senior moves all Ichiro’s moves could only be used in mid-to-melee range, which meant he had no way of hurting opponents who focused on attacking at a range other than charging up and trying to get into hand-to-hand combat distance with them. After being bugged about this by the teachers for over a year, and ignoring them the whole while, Ichiro finally caved in and is working on learning Scald and Flamethrower to try and compensate for this. He also opted to pick up Assurance as an addition to go with his speed issue and Zen Headbutt as a surprise move to use as needed.
All in all Ichiro’s style is flashy, violent, and impressive to watch but rather than compensate for its weaknesses (willingly at least) with tactics or new skills the emboar choose to instead use his naturally extremely high physical strength, stamina, and endurance to carry it. Doing anything else (willingly at least) would be too much of a blow to the pig’s pride for him to tolerate… in his mind if he happens to lose a match then the opponent was able to overcome his strength and he has no regrets about that. All he has to do is keep working to get stronger and he’ll be able to overcome them eventually.
Miscellaneous Info:
- Ichiro is still painfully weak when it comes to schoolwork despite impressive grades in battling and physical related activities. On average he scrapes by with D’s and C’s with at least two days a week where he attends after school tutoring.
- Regularly hangs out with a pair of electabuzz brothers who also came from his hometown… though it’s less friendship and more a boss and his subordinates. Both the electric types are jerks and bullies while also being surprisingly durable, letting Ichiro use them as training dummies and a means to vent his anger when needed without feeling much guilt. He tries to keep them in line though and refuses to let them get away with bullying weaker students.
- Outside training, beating his two electabuzz flunkies, and struggling with schoolwork Ichiro has two things he enjoys doing. Namely the emboar happens to be a regular at the local movie theaters and the local wrestling rings whenever he can pull together the money to get a ticket, or two now that he can bring his little brother along. In particularly the emboar enjoys action films, the kind with a lot of violence and explosions, and, oddly enough, samurai films as well as attends the local, low-publicity wrestling groups which he fells are less faked and scripted then the big budget spectacles.
- Despite how his mostly stoic attitude might paint the pig Ichiro isn’t adverse to the idea of dating… he just happens to be surprisingly picky with the type of girl he likes. Namely he likes strong girls with some meat on their bones… the most recent girl to catch his interest actually happened to be Grace, but he wasn’t too broken up with the hariyama turned him down gently. As far as he’s concerned he’s got plenty of time to find the right girl.
Name: Jiro Gorotsuki
Gender: Male
Species: Tepig
Age: 14
Height: 4’3”
Weight: 78 lbs
Ability: Thick Fat
Info:
Second child of the Gorotsuki family Jiro was born a happy, healthy baby and grew into a happy, healthy little boy. Always bright, cheerful, and chipper the tepig had a perpetually sunny and positive disposition… even when he had every right to be upset or angry. Which was often the case when Jiro was little, back when his big brother (who he hero worships both then and now) was still in his aggressive jerk stage… particularly towards his piglet little brother. Jiro actually doesn’t remember much from when he was 4 but he does know something happened and neither his parents nor his brother will tell him what. He’s fine with that, perfectly confident that if they don’t want to tell him then they have a good reason not to.
This is a recurring thing with Jiro (no not the lost memory) in that he likes to keep things like thoughts and problems simple, preferring not to over complicate things with too much thought… even when more forethought and planning would be wise. He isn’t stupid per say, and actually his grades are better than his brother’s, he just likes easy answers whenever they can possibly work and tends not to notice the problems they cause until it’s too late. Because of that he’s done everything he could to chase his brother’s shadow and follow in the path Ichiro had already laid… to the point the older pig has had to actually try and coax Jiro to make his own choices at time. Especially since, while strong and talented, Jiro lacks Ichiro’s natural talents and tendency to evolve waaaaaaaay earlier then he should.
Jiro also lacks the aggressive streak his brother had while younger and still has to get help from Ichiro in the arena… leading the piglet to try and fake it at times which never goes well since it tends to lead to Jiro getting in over his head. Oddly enough Jiro did end up inheriting or learning a lot of Ichiro’s more noble traits and beliefs, particularly concerning bullying and protecting those weaker than you. Unfortunately mixed with that fake aggressive streak this leads to Jiro challenging bullies and people waaaaaaay out of his league in the name of protecting others… often getting him into situations that Ichiro will occasionally have to bail him out from (only occasionally since he wants his little brother to learn and get stronger from the experience after all).
This attitude and Jiro’s overall friendly and happy personality has gotten him mixed result at his schools… particularly after Ichiro went off to the PCA and wasn’t there to bail him out anymore. Despite dealing with a few bullies trying to settle scores though most students at the piglets old grade school thought Jiro was a decent, if very dim, guy and he had plenty of friends… though hardly any close ones. His decent record grade wise and in his school’s battling extracurricular and better grades helped him secure a scholarship like his brother even without Ichiro’s records in local tournaments meaning Jiro is reuniting with his big brother at the PCA. The piglet is looking forward to it, having his big brother show him around, meeting new people… and fighting them! Oh, and making friends too… though Jiro is rather… confused about all the tiny mon he’s seen on campus. Maybe it’s something in the water here in Viridian?
Moves:
Freshmen – Body Slam, Flame Charge, Iron Tail, Ember
Sophomore – Rock Tomb*, Flamethrower*, Assurance*, Sunny Day*
* still learning
Fighting Style:
Jiro’s original plan was to imitate his big brother’s style and moves… but Ichiro quickly talked the piglet out of it. Even if Jiro WAS due to evolve into a Pignite soon it’d be a long while before he hit the Emboar status and got the ability that made all the recoil moves that Ichiro had learned so dangerous. So Jiro was forced to try and create his own style and choose his own moves… though he’s done his best to imitate Ichiro’s brawling style. He likes to get up close and personal with his opponents try to pound on them… even if he hasn’t quite gotten the hang of that yet. In fact he actually does much better if he takes a more mobile strategy using hit & run tactics despite his poor speed…
Which is somewhat mitigated by his use of Flame Charge to speed himself up and the fact he’s trying to learn Rock Tomb to slow his opponents down. The fact Jiro has, at his brother’s insistence, opted to learn some ranged moves way earlier than Ichiro letting the piglet hit from a distance fairly easily as well giving him more options on how he can fight. Oddly enough he picked up Iron Tail on a whim cause he though it looked cool and has come to love the move, swinging his springy, ball-tipped tail around like a mace when using it before he smacks the opponent hard. Jiro is also trying to learn Assurance at his brother’s suggestion to try and deal with opponents who are too fast for Flame Charge and Rock Tomb to affect the speed difference any. Lastly Jiro decided to try and pick up Sunny Day, a choice that surprised and baffled his brother, because from what little the piglet knew at the time he made the choice it made his fire attacks stronger. He’s been looking into the intricacies behind the move and its effect since then as he tries to master it to see if there’s any other ways he can take advantage of it.
Miscellaneous Info:
- Fear of his older brother meant Jiro was rarely if ever really truly bullied during his time in school, but students who didn’t like him for any number of reasons found other ways to try and torment the piglet… specifically name calling and insulting nicknames usually derived from Jiro being so round or the black briefs like marking (Babe, Diaper Baby, Speedo, Salami, and Rubber Pants being a few examples… they weren't very creative with them) all Tepig’s have… naturally Jiro never paid these names any mind whatsoever.
- Jiro, unlike his brother, is actually fairly decent at schoolwork, while admittedly being rather poor at taking tests, and usually does better grade-wise than Ichiro.
- Much to his brother’s understated embarrassment Jiro has a major love for action and superhero movies, cartoons, and comics. As well as a history of making his own, shoddily constructed, superhero masks and capes to wear around the house and the like… but as far as Ichiro knows Jiro has grown out of the latter habit… as far as he knows anyway.
- Despite being relatively mature for his age and looks Jiro has ONE major point of childishness beyond his superhero fascination and big sibling worship. When it comes to bath time the tepig is an absolute preschooler enjoying bubble baths, bath toys, and having his back scrubbed as well as sharing the tub with his big brother… who finds this rather amusing oddly enough despite his serious demeanor.
As usual consider a Q & A for these two to now officially be open now if you have any comments or questions (within reason of course) for them that you wanna ask ^,^
Either way if feels GOOD to finally have them posted... though it reminds me of all the other characters I need to finish and post up... =,= *sigh*
Please enjoy, fav & comment, and have a great day! =D
