It's no secret that Kayla Bowles (aka Voltage Vixen II) has more than her fair share of enemies and critics. There are even some in the hero community that don't know what to make of her, and occasionally struggle to see her as more than just a crazy vixen with anger management issues. Not Slipstream. Slipstream has a tendency to form quick attachments with the heroes and heroines that he works with, and one of his few pet peeves is when they're being insulted or shamed. He himself is very much aware of how much mistakes or actions from the past have a tendency to haunt the future, so it's easier for him to see past what's at the surface. Having heard the awful things that people were saying about Kayla, Slip decided to intervene. It's a simple gesture, but sometimes the simplest of things can mean the most to those that need them.

This is probably one of the main reasons why I really like SlipStream. Yah he screws around with everyone and pulls pranks on about everyone but still, he's very caring as well and seems as the type who'll just die for anyone. It's like a noble cause, he gives everyone a laugh at times irritated look (in the good way in the case of a prank) but he also brings a warm smile too just know he is the guy that'll be there for anyone.
