a proper shading attempt, and meh need some more practice, and I should have chosen a different angle for the direction of the light. I keep thinking light should be above and behind the subject (all those years of a smiling sun behind a stick figure family back in grade school :P) and even though I know that is wrong, my mind says do it this way lol, and I listen stupidly :P


I need to start thinking of it like a photograph (I love photography), maybe that will help with getting better with lighting.
