kind of just showing off more stuff based on something I've been working on. mouse aim is not utilized on platformers enough. Combined with wasd + tap jump it feels pretty good. I was actually sad metal slug on steam didn't support this.
also the errors have already been fixed (as far as things missing/not attached)

haha, someone sees what I did there! yeah I never even tried until recently and played the demo online at a place that hosts old dos games. I was going to link to that when I started to discuss what I was doing here in depth. you know one big flaw I noticed though? it had no melee which would have made the game less annoying at certain parts.
maybe it just depends on the type of game you play. I play a lot of fps'es and Top down dungeon crawlers (Diablo and alien swarm for starters), so something about the mouse/keyboard setup really clicked for me when I tried out "Abuse". usually a game is balanced for "run and gun" too, so I guess the thing is I'd have to make the run part a slightly less hectic. I dunno, have you ever played any of the "worms" series? just imagine things like grenade arcs and stuff. Plus in the pre-alpha there were things like head-shots we had set up, and later on there would be enemies you have to shoot in certain locations or possibly get punished for it due to reflector shields, energy absorption, ect.
But thank you for the compliments.

yeah I always have trouble with that control method T_T Playing Path of Exile at the moment and I keep losing where my mouse is :p
Worms was fun, I'm glad it was turn based though.. did you ever play Soldat? Was like a real time version of worms, so crazy :D
I think it works a lot better with larger sprites for sure :) Always wanted to do something like this myself but just too busy, Can't wait to see more on this game :D
