Today, I received two of my great grandma's belonging: the gold pearl feather Bronche from her wedding, and the jade turtle she got as a gift from her brother after moving to the state. It was neat seeing all the things that she has collected and all of the pictures through the decades.
According to my grandma turtles are a symbol of fortune. And jade was my great grandma's birthstone. :P it's crazy to see how we all have great grandma's cheeks.
