It's a hobby for now! I'm thinking of taking commissions one day, but (as much as it pains me to say this) furries are totally cheap as a rule. Who knows what the future holds is what I'm sayin'. ^^

Oh yeah totally! I am mostly in this for the fun, 'cause it's like hey! Opportunity to dress up and be various critters, opportunity to turn other people into various critters... I'll happily do that at the drop of a hat!

If I was in the market for prosthetic or masks, I'd expect a few hundred. Certainly for custom work. It might be because I understand some of the work involved in it. Good masks are expensive I think people are too used to spencer's.

Masks are easily a few hundred, more if you have to sculpt and mould them from scratch!

I hope you can get the interest of the community. I think having this kind of work be part of things could help boost some of the seriousness in craftsmanship for fursuits and the like.

Maybe a couple years ago I would have said "line me up," I think at this point though I'm moving more toward just changing my body over wearing a mask. You do make me look fondly at old hobbies though.

I like how you make these to look like parts of the face, proper. Not just 'hay it's a mask.' What I mean is how they actually follow the contours of the face and not just do their own thing and look stretched out.

That's part of the challenge! How do you make it look like flesh? You gotta imagine everything as muscles!

I'm curious now that you mentioned this is a bit of a hobby for you. Had a lot of suits/masks put together in the past, or is this the first one you've tackled?

YOu know Rick Baker started out by dressing up as a gorilla in his basement and by now he's won something like 36 Oscars for make-up...
