I'm having to swallow my pride here and say that ... I'm not actually sure what breed of heavy this is. o_o She was some way off and I never got a close look, but when I first saw her, I thought "Percheron" due to her build and those stocky little legs. I was quite happy with this assumption, until it occured to me that this was a show for the Shire Horse Society ... so, therefore, a Percheron shouldn't be present - certainly not in a class!
So now I'm very confused, as I could've sworn this was a Perch. You cna't see her feet properly, but she doesn't have the same feathering as Shires either. Hmmm.
So what do you think? Unusually stocky Shire mare, or a Percheron at the wrong show? :P

Well they do sometimes have Percherons at the Spring show (they certainly have Clydes - they had Clydes at this show, too, but then again Clydes and Shires are pretty similar). 'Cause yeh, it's the shape of the quarters isn't it! Haha!! I wish I knew what the class was, it may have been worded in a way so that you could enter any heavy breed.
