The Pally rep stuff (all the rep stuff really) are recolored versions of the Dungeon 3 stuff (which are all pretty nice). It's just the raiding tier armor that gets kind of crazy/stupid IMOP. Like the warlock "Hi, like my baby-skulls impaled on spikes shoulder piece?" kind of stupid. ^.^
No clue on the sword in RL. It is a sword in game, the Warmonger. Though I wouldn't put it past someone in the past having that as a Parade sword. Might be a bit too much metal in the blade itself to smith structurally into a useful battle field weapon, but that is purely speculation on my behalf.
