My beautiful, honey coloured puppy.
When we first got you, you were so scared to leave our side.
Walking you in the beginning, my sister and I couldn't go different ways without you having to bark frantically to get us back together.
But Yesterday
You decided it was time to take your final walk all by yourself
and I am so proud of you.
You're heart was so big, so loving
That it's no wonder you had to go so soon. You gave us your all 24/7 and it understandable that your body couldn't keep up.
You left our house with such a huge hole that I don't think could ever possibly be filled.
Maybe halfway, but never full.
I want to ask you one last favor, my sweetheart.
That when it's my time to go, that you'll be waiting there for me, tail wagging
so that we can go across that beautiful rainbow bridge
on our last walk
together

The loss of a pet is always very hard, and I'm sorry you have to go through it. I know we all wish they will live forever, and I'm sure they wish that too, but all we can do is show them that they are loved while they are still with us.
I know your pup will be there waiting for you at that rainbow bridge, just as happy to see you as ever before.

I just lost my sweet dog of 11 years the other day too, it's never easy, and they always leave too soon. ;_; But they leave behind the best memories. ^^ This is a lovely tribute you made for your puppy. I am so, so very sorry for your loss!! I wish you comfort and healing at this time!
