Yes, I too had often thought about this art, especially after a night of travel =) really is a very time consuming job playing all the chaos of interior decoration of the car =) not everyone will agree devoting five hours just on the line x)

If the draw on the outside - then yes, chars can be represented more, but then lost the effect of the presence. Even more so if it's a car and comply with size of the real model, as well as lighting, the chars will not be visible from the bottom of the cabin when using an interesting foreshortening =)
Although if it's any spaceship with large windscreen flowing around the cabin - then agree, and characters can be more adhered and outside they are more visible, but it all depends on the structure of the ship itself =)
He remembered the way about space flights on various merchant ships of different purposes. It was fun to carry different loads on your ship on the different systems in the Space Rangers =)

I've also all the more tempted to implement the =) How will deal with their studies - will do more elaborate sketch. And there are already defined what to do and how much it will cost =)

How about doing it like this:

1. I pay you to make sketches of my characters. I can tell you more about the characters if you want.

2. I pay you to make a sketch of the space ship so we can find out the best design.

3. If everything works out fine, I pay you for the actual image.

Well now I have a couple of free stood out of hours, so I can distribute the sketch characters and at the same time the cab. Description it would be wise =)

Basically idea is good, I like =)
