Zacharia Akiva - He's an Equeousian, a new race of aliens I have made for my role play Card House Rape. I had a huge profile written out for him, but sadly I saved over it with another characters profiles. Let me say that month of work lost in a second made me quite an angry camper.

Either way his race was created from the breeding of human clones with a squid like creature. His kind was meant for deep underwater work for extended periods of time. However his race was far more intelligent then originally thought and the end result was his people being ditched on a desert planet (there is more behind it then that, but I won't bore you to tears). His face is made up of bone, when left on the desert planet the Galactic Congregate thought that they would die out. However, a fail safe was built into their genetics. Zacharia's race, the Equeous grow a bone over their faces, sprouting from around were our ears would be the bone grows over the face. No eye socket or marking are on the bone just yet. The Equeous child spends about a year or two growing this mask. Initially a face plate is placed over the child's face to keep the bone from growing directly on the tendons and muscle. After the bone has completely grown they cut an eye socket and use a chemical to dissolve the face plate under the bone. The eye socket is then shaped to the child's liking and later in life markings are carved into the bone. As a sign of position and family relations, ex cetera.

Okay, that was a quick and sloppy explanation. One day I will have more. Oh and this was the original drawing of Zacharia, he looks a bit different after some tweaking. Face is less round, the eye is less round. he's still in the working stages but I like him none the less. Sides my gallery is really empty!
