This pic could be considered something like a 'Day in the life' sort of thing, before Max met Malum and was a little demon back in Hell.
Being chased by Hellhounds for stealing their bones is one of said things he would have done in his early life. He's lower than them on the demon hierarchy/food chain so he better run quick if he doesn't wanna get mauled!
