Gorgeous! And I get having trouble getting out of the comfort zone. I find setting short time limits and quick sketching helps break those barriers. 10 minute sketches and when 10 is up its done. Or even 5. Just keep trying for what you want and even if it doesnt work do it again for another time limit. Over and over until it works. Constrained time limit frees to not care about perfection. :)
My favorite method is to turn on pandora and draw whatever I can to the theme of the song! And you gotta finish before its over. :) Easy way to time yourself and you dont have to come up with the mood of the picture either. :) I mostly listen to symphonic metal and they tend to be 5-8 minutes long so its perfect but most songs are 4-5 so it works too. :)
