I know how that is, I am 6' 6". I'm surprised how hard it is to buy a car at this size. Pontiac still fits me well. The Acura INtegra is a no-go.
Always wanted a Mini. I mean I WANT a Mini. They have personality, not like these other cookie cutter car designs. Us the most race bred engine they come with and work some of my magic... and tear through the Colorado mountains at the speed of Mini!

You know, I almost bought a pair of these for $500. We were going to stuff a spare Harley engine we had laying around in it. It just seemed like a shame to do that (Neither had engines).
He should have gotten a Janus. Very similar, in fact the Isetta was the reason they didn't work out. Both the front and the back of them opened up like the Isetta. So he could just stick his butt out the back door. Not sure how much the 248 CC one popper would like him though...

I might have been, I haven't run into many in the fandom who are enthusiastic about cars. Especially non mainstream vehicles. Gene Catlowe, you, and... crap I can't remember who else. It's always nice to encounter someone who has similar interests.
From the Turbonique Dragaxle to the Messerschmitt... cars are just fun!

*points* Oh my GOD. That's the car Crash and I were talking about a few weeks ago! I am hopelessly enamored with little tiny cars (as a petite woman, I choose smaller cars. ) We live near the Canadian border and saw a Smart ForTwo (of course I nearly squee-d to death when I saw it) and Crash pointed out that it was like the BMW Isetta, which I'd never seen before.
Anyway, great job on the car! And such a cute image! Look at all the FLUFF! XD

A friend of mine's parents had one of these back in the early sixties. In fact his mother claims to have started the vinyl top fashion when his dad rolled the car (very easy to do in fact) and she covered the damaged top with a tough vinyl material they found that made the car look like a true convertible. They would often get comments at the time about the car and it's roof. Soon she noticed other people doing it to their cars then a few year later new cars came equipped with the things. Don't know if they actually started the trend but it makes for a good story. :P
