Chapter two of The New war. This switches the scene though it takes place at the same time as chapter one. You will see a lot of this occurring in this series as many things will happen simultaneously but including them in one chapter would make the chapters ridiculously long. Instead, I split them into two chapters and simply say they occur simultaneously. In this chapter Miles returns to Las Lindas in high spirits, believing he will see his friends and his love again though with a small weight on his heart that Ryu is not with him. What is on the mysterious disc that Ryu has given him? And what kind of greeting can he expect after being gone for a year?
